Democratic voice

The decision by Pat Kenny to leave RTÉ is a gift gone sour. This gentlemen and some of his colleagues acted like leeches when this country was in serious trouble.

The greatest scandal of all is that the authority and management who oversaw the paying out of the vulgar salaries to these people are still in power, and still in the process of hoodwinking the people in the pursuit of the new broadcasting licence.

The people of this country must now ensure that never again will the power be enshrined in Dublin, but be dispersed throughout the country, and that the people of the provinces are included in the provision of radio or TV stations.
