Richard Crowley’s excellent cross-examination of Health Minister James Reilly on RTÉ’s This Week, concerning Fine Gael’s failure to keep their pre-election pro-life promise, prompts a simple analogy.

Minister Reilly says we don’t know how many abortions are legally, secretly, taking place here, so Fine Gael are just limiting legalised abortion as provided by the X Case.

The X Case has left us with an unlocked door.
