Who are the pagans here?

Have the Catholic bishops collectively lost the plot?

Who are the pagans here? Could they be those who live in comfortable accommodation, who eat well, who dress in fancy garments and who allowed their clergy to abuse and violate little children over many years, or could it be those who have left the Church because of their scandals? I don’t think the Celtic Tiger comes into it — the bishops have been doing a good job on their own without his help!
