Ask the hard questions
My parents were not told. I was no angel. br>
How many of us delve into what is happening in our schools? Do we believe that teachers, like priests, doctors and politicians, are immune from criticism?
If we do, we are fools.
Parents should ask hard questions of teachers to ensure they are doing their jobs. Schools are meant to regularly evaluate educational standards. There is a link at education.ie to evaluation reports. You can check them, by inputting the school roll number. How many parents do that? How many have asked their principal for that information?
