Teachers’ reaction — best comedy on TV

Who says that RTÉ does not produce good comedy anymore?

Surely, the coverage of the various teachers congresses is the funniest thing on television.

The pompous self righteous indignation, coupled with the childish carry on that would make a 12-year-old blush is an absolute joy to behold.

The high point of this was the guy on the 6pm news on Monday who felt it was unfair that he had to repay his mortgage and that someone else should do it. This was accompanied with howls of approval.

Presumably their academic brilliance and superior intellect precludes them from doing mundane tasks, such as paying their bills.

These things are best left to the common people. You would just wonder what planet they are living on or if is is safe to leave them out on their own?
