Labour has lost its way with broken promises

Does the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte, TD, regret the comments he made on The Weeks in Politics TV show last December.

When asked about Labour’s pre-election promises that it did not keep in government, he replied “Isn’t that what you tend to do during an election?”

Those broken promises are haunting Labour, and there can be no doubt from the result of the Meath East by-election that it isn’t “Labour’s Way” anymore.
