Patronising tone

I was appalled listening to the interview with Ms Fehily of the Revenue Commissioners on the Pat Kenny radio show on Thursday, Mar 7.

It was patronising in tone, almost triumphalist.

I am reminded of the late Richard Nixon’s famous comment concerning the Viet Cong during the Vietnam war. ‘If we have them by the balls, their brains and minds will follow’.
