Statement of intent
I have come to a disturbing preliminary conclusion.
There is no point changing this Government if we end up with one that continues its policies, just as we did when we voted out the last Fianna Fáil-led Government; nor is there any point in requiring people to vote in a succession of referenda on matters we normally leave to our Government. What we need is a Government accepting of salary and pension cuts and pursuing policies that place the good of the economy and the people ahead of that of the banks and the troika.
