Debt risk burden

The news that bonuses for bankers are to be curbed is to be welcomed.

The reaction of the Tory elite merely reflects their core values of protecting corporate financiers. More interesting is the contrast with the cuts being imposed on public service workers and what each group brings to society.

One group creates massive corporate profits by encouraging citizens to load up on credit, plays monopoly with their savings and then through unregulated greed gets bailed out through the imposition of austerity on these same citizens.

Where is the risk in that? The restrictions on bonuses will not cause a huge burden to bankers while the cuts to public service will surely push more citizens into penury.
