Weakest suffer as fat cats thrive
The weakest in our society, whom our politicians are pledged to protect — the elderly, the unemployed, the disabled, those in need of hospital treatment and home care — all must suffer to fund the luxury lifestyle of the fat cats.
Many of our decent Irish families are worried sick about how they are going to put food on the table or keep a roof over their heads and about how the budget will penalise them even further. Our most talented young people are emigrating in droves for want of functional job-creation initiatives in their own country.
