Reality check, please

Why is that every time it’s suggested a wealth tax should be introduced to help our dire economic situation and help alleviate the pressure on the less well off, we are told it can’t be done?

Why is it, when the mere suggestion of a marginal percentage increase on corporation tax is mentioned we see a hissy fit from the troika of FF/FG&Lab parties, who predict a doomsday scenario where multinationals would flee our country?

Not only is such a response a gross exaggeration, but these politicians don’t seem to care that its hundreds of thousands of Irish passport holders are forced to leave each year they should really be focussed upon.
