Shortall misjudgement

Roisin Shortall was totally unrealistic in her disagreement over spending cuts with the Minister for Health and completely misjudged the role of a minister for state.

The mark of a true professional is to keep your disagreements in-house and give it to your political opponents with both barrels.

Instead, Ms Shortall indulged in immature petulance. Just as well she wasn’t appointed to cabinet in 2011.
