Clampers’ treatment of hospital staff unfair

Having spent a week under the expert care of the staff at the Mercy Hospital, Cork, it is worth recording my complete disgust at the treatment of these people at the hands of the clampers.

As these medical professionals were busy saving lives and treating seriously ill people, some of their cars were in the process of being clamped and/ or towed.

Maybe they should down tools in the middle of an operation to go and move their vehicles? There is at least a 70 metre stretch of quay wall where there is absolutely no need for double yellow parking lines. The City Council should immediately restore some parking spaces there.
