Irish travel agents are notadvertising the right prices

The practice of advertising qualified travel fare prices in travel agents must come to an end.

There is a litany of travel agents all around this country advertising ridiculously low prices for long distance foreign destinations that are subject to availability, but not necessarily advertised as such. And, in a lot of cases, are never available.

A lot of these agents are wasting peoples’ time and only want people to come into their shop so they can offer them some other deal that will be very far removed from what is ostensibly advertised.

They have no difficulty in brazenly telling people that availability is no longer an option, however continue to advertise at the discounted price which is no longer available.

The practice is wholesale in this country and is more like getting odds that are subject to change at a moment’s notice, than anything else.

The practice of price misquotation and delinquent advertising should be completely outlawed.

When it comes to booking a flight or a holiday in this country you would need your head well screwed on, so as not to get blinded by inflated advertising that is designed to mislead.
