Munster politicians should unite to promote area

In view of the neglect by RTE of Munster and its environs, it is vitally important that all Munster politicians should unite to form a Munster Development Committee, which would counteract the focus from Dublin towards Munster.

This is vital for the future of Munster and similarly this also should be done in Connacht. The over development of Dublin should be reduced, and the regions in the south and west should be vastly improved to rejuvenate life in their respective areas.

If the politicians in the regions are serious about their areas, and about Ireland, they should forget their childish differences and unite in developing the outlying regions of Ireland.

This unity would prove their patriotic allegiances to Ireland — after all, they like to invoke this patriotism to the people of Ireland when they want us to do things collectively.

The emotions of the Irish people have been pulled from one party to another, while the country itself has become the victim in this charade.
