Frustration over retail pricing problems

A high number of retail shops and stores seem to have a hard time pricing their goods on their shelves.

Frustration over retail pricing problems

There is a notable absence of price tags on many items and, where they are provided, often state incorrect prices to the store’s advantage when paying at the till. This is making budgeting a lot harder for many people as they will probably end up with a higher grocery bill at the end of the week.

The mis-stating of prices causes serious delays delay at the checkout, which puts the shopper to great inconvenience and also causes tailbacks in queues. Checkout personnel need to check the item or items at the shelf, in addition to calling in a supervisor to sort it all out, which can take a lot of time if a person has a limited time to shop.
