Daughters of wisdom - A huge debt of gratitude

It has, unfortunately, been too easy to be critical of the Catholic Church and its works over recent years.

In that entirely understandable torrent of anger the great good, and the great contribution made by the Church and individual clerics has sometimes been lost.

One of the areas in which the Church has, with all of the harrowing exceptions, a record it can be proud of is the care of people with intellectual disabilities. This record was brought into focus again yesterday when the role of the Daughters of Wisdom at Cregg House, Co Sligo, was highlighted.
