Lick of paint needed

Now that the local authorities are awash with funds from the household charge, would it be too much to expect the relevant body would throw a dab of paint on the road markings at the Kinsale Rd roundabout in Cork?

That is the sort of thing the charge was meant to cover... wasn’t it?
