Snowball’s chance

It seems clear that signing up to the fiscal treaty following the referendum and the European Stability Mechanism funds when we already have too much debt and a broken economy is just rolling this snowball down the hill, collecting more unsustainable debt as we go.

It also seems clear that the Government strategy is to outlast the Athens and Madrid snowballs before they crash at the bottom of their respective hills, or the ECB blinks and prints sufficient euro to roll the snowball (safely) up another hill.
