Stopping the Eurotanic in the referendum

Should the Irish people approve the amendment to the Constitution on May 31 they will be giving their consent to a perpetual poverty trap for our children and generations to come, in which we: sign away the economic sovereignty and independence of Ireland in a hostile permanent takeover contract, accept a set of automatic punishments, for any failure to meet austerity (i.e. cuts) and taxation targets.

Stopping the Eurotanic in the referendum

These automatic punishments include a takeover by the powers that be of all our assets, “movable and immovable”, including no doubt, our homes and land, our schools, churches, beaches, fishing ports, bogs, forests, off-shore gas and oil, all our natural amenities, etc., etc., painstakingly ignore the impending collapse of the euro, transfer blame for the consequences of giant fraud and culpability for banker crimes to each European nation, via their respective governments.

But it gets much worse. The treaty is a Trojan horse. Our downfall is cleverly hidden under its repulsive belly. This is surely the biggest act of treason in Irish history, but it has been totally ignored by pundits, media personalities, academics, and even Republicans. Why? The Irish people couldn’t stop the Titanic in 1912, but we can stop the Eurotanic in 2012.
