Facing reality

When I read a defence of gay marriage like that of your columnist Colette Browne (May 2), then I consider two things.

One is the yawning predictability of the genre of journalism concerned, which probably turns off a high percentage of your readers when they give it a glance.

Second is the apparent willingness of these propagandists to bend reality to shoehorn their argument. New human life comes from the union of a man and a woman.

All the propaganda and all the angry journalism won’t change that reality.
