The politicians have highlighted once more how they are going to perform their patriotic duty in helping the recovery and relieving the burden of debt on the Irish people.

TDs don’t deserve expenses rise

Minister Brendan Howlin signed into legislation a further increase of €25,700 annually to TDs’ expenses.

TDs are paid €92,672 annually — they can also claim yearly expenses of almost €50,000.
