Anti-Austerity Alliance candidate Paul Murphy has been elected to the Dáil, beating Sinn Féin poll topper Cathal King in the Dublin South West by-election.

Socialist MEP Paul Murphy is now just 291 votes behind Sinn Féin candidate Cathal King after the seventh count in the Dublin South West by-election.

SInn Féin's Paul Donnelly has topped the poll in Dublin West by-election.

The politicians have highlighted once more how they are going to perform their patriotic duty in helping the recovery and relieving the burden of debt on the Irish people.
