Lift Cuban blockade

The visit of Pope Benedict to Cuba again highlights the farcical situation whereby the Pope can visit Cuba and no embargoes or sanctions will be imposed on the Vatican by the US, and at the same time the US government has imposed sanctions on any nation that deals in trade with Cuba since 1962, causing untold hardship on this small but fiercely independent nation.
