Make your voice heard for change
The corruption we have in Ireland is not unusual. It must be seen in the context of a political system which is organised in such a weak and undemocratic manner that this is always going to be inevitable. The corruption and abuse of political power is merely a symptom of the political disease which is our present so-called democracy, which in reality is a feudal hierarchical system where the political parties are the uncontrolled elite and the citizens are the victims at the bottom. This rotten behaviour we have seen lately will continue, and continue unless the system itself is changed and democracy is brought to Ireland.
I have set up a website to bring democracy to Ireland, www.irishcitizen.ie. The process of change must begin with a thorough understanding of what are the core problems with our political system, for it is impossible to fix a problem unless that problem is thoroughly understood. And changing a political system is as serious as it can get, for it will affect the future of this nation and its citizens.
