Some months ago, our Taoiseach, during his Address to the Nation speech, announced that the Irish people were not responsible for the monetary state of the country, yet, when he is the perceived centre of attention at the Davos Forum, he ridicules us, the Irish people, to the world.

He more or less stated that we, the ‘serfs’, caused all the problems with the state of the Irish economy.

How smug he looked on the stage, while trying to ingratiate himself with the so-called world shakers and movers. I wonder if he had ‘burned’ the bond-holders, as he promised, would he have been invited to Davos? No doubt not, as quite a few of those bond-holders were more than likely in attendance in Davos.
