No sympathy for landlords

I REFER to the recent letter in your paper from Stephen Faughnan from the Irish Property Owners Association (Jan 19).

One would nearly feel sorry for the sector that he represents — unfortunately the reality on the ground is that landlords have been ripping off tenants so long and letting tenants live in some disgraceful conditions over many decades, that this association deserves what it gets.
