What about rights of child?

IN relation to Colette Browne’s article on abortion (Opinion, Dec 14), I would like to point out that at no point does she even mention the rights of the child that are stipulated in our constitution.

What about rights of child?

She believes that introducing abortion in Ireland would be tough luck on the pro-life campaign. Where are the rights of the child represented in bringing in such a law? In an era where we play a huge emphasis on equality and human rights, introducing abortion would not cater for the rights of the child or acknowledge the belief of the majority of Irish citizens.
