Trauma of abortion

I FIND that your piece by Colette Browne (Opinion, Dec 14) to be very unbalanced especially as this research was conducted just three months after the abortions when more often then not the effects of abortion become apparent in later years.

I think of the pro-life march in Washington every year where hundreds of women hold placards saying “I regret my abortion” and indeed men, too, stand in line with them, regretting the termination of their unborn child. Every abortion stops a heartbeat and breaks another heart. I think that you should have a more balanced approach to this deeply emotive issue. Please consider the points I have stated.
