Audit abuse funds

YOUR newspaper had four full pages covering the sex scandal in the Catholic Church (December 1), but what about the need to hold an audit on all organisations that have received funds from the State or the Catholic Church over the past six years?

Funds given to claimants from the State came from taxpayers’ monies, and funds from the Catholic Church mostly have come from donors.

The taxpayer and donor have an absolute right to know who got what, how much, and why they received their payments.
