Council is a quango

I REFER to the body known as the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council which is made up of four professors and one senior economist.

The Government, during the last election campaign, said it would get rid of many quangos that had been created by Fianna Fáil. It seems to me that this body of four men and one woman is a quango in every aspect. It is time for it to go.
