Keeping the seal

CONGRATULATIONS to Dana for supporting the seal of Confession.

Some years ago a good Church of Ireland friend of mine said to me, “There is one thing, in the Catholic Church which I really envy you”, “What is that?” I asked. She replied, “Confession. It must be wonderful to tell one’s scruples, troubles and problems and know they will never be divulged to anyone.”

This is something I have never forgotten. What a comfort Confession has been, and still, is to all Catholics. May the seal never be broken.
