Kenny doesn’t get it

VINCENT BROWNE hit the nail on the head when he said Enda Kenny “does not have a grasp of the issues”.

As a former teacher, Kenny might have preferred the term “poor comprehension skill set”. An example of Kenny not “getting it” is how he tarnished the Pope’s quote.

Pope Benedict stated that the church “cannot be inspired by the mentality of the world around it” (ie Germany in the 30s and 40s) and that a Catholic is not bound to “the pressure of public opinion“ and “that standards of conduct, appropriate to civil society or the workings of a democracy cannot be purely and simply applied to the church”.
