Double standards

WITH reference to Martin Ferris’s call on Libyan dictator Col Muammar Gaddafi to resign and avoid further bloodshed, it’s a pity Mr Ferris didn’t take some of the same advice when trying to illegally import arms into Ireland i in the 1980s.

The man who he now calls on to step down was the same one who SF/IRA gladly accepted arms and explosives from over many decades.

If Mr Ferris and his “comrades“ had followed the same advice, we may have avoided many years of tears and bloodshed closer to home.
