Munster TDs are letting us down

IT was reported recently that Stephen McNamara, Ryanair head of communications, was left to do what our Munster representatives were seemingly not interested in doing, and that was to enquire about the traffic figures for Shannon and Cork from the DAA.

Surely this is a damning indictment of our Munster TDs, who are supposed to represent their constituents’ interests in the Dáil.

The issuing of the Dublin traffic figures only was designed to influence the Fianna Fáil/Green government to grant the permission to build the white elephant in Dublin known as Terminal Two.

This trickery is again being used by Dublin to justify the new children’s hospital and other major developments, which are awaiting construction, while services are being cut throughout the country, all with the connivance of our regional TDs in Dáil Éireann.
