Norris should soldier on in campaign despite revelations

AS one who is not yet decided on the candidate of my choice in the forthcoming Presidential election, I would undoubtedly feel deprived if my choice were limited by the absence of a candidate as gregarious, thought-provoking and vulnerable as Senator Norris, especially when this choice is limited by what appears to be a covert orchestrated campaign against him.

Not to diminish or condone the shameful act his partner apparently did, but who among us would not write a letter in support of our long-time partner if we thought that it would assist him/her in some small way, especially so if we thought that he/she was not the sole author of their misfortune and had been taken advantage of?

Loyalty can at times be misplaced and love is indeed blind, but I would rather have those two qualities in my President than not.

Norris should soldier on in his inimitable way and at least present us with the choice to wrestle with our conscience to either cast the first stone or rise above our prejudices to a more enlightened world.
