Still driving ahead

IN a Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man, James Joyce wrote “the quickest way to Tara is through Holyhead”.

The last Irish government missed the allegory nature of this comment and drove the M3 through Tara.

The new one doesn’t seem to be showing much improvement in this field.
