Trained to be killers

BRIAN P O CINNEIDE states: “The US Military Academy at West Point is one of the finest engineering universities in the world. All its graduates are qualified engineers.”

Most are. Others have degrees in other disciplines. However, every one of them is primarily trained to be a killer by their own code. And, incidentally, every public relations act performed by the Armed Forces of the United States has a subliminal message to recruit young men and women into its various branches.

I know because I served seven years in the US military — three in the US Army paratroopers and four in the United States Air Force.
