THE present trial of the former general Ratko Mladic has already shown how the authorities must have known where this man was kept while on “the run” in Serbia.

It has been reported now that the Mladic’s lawyer Mr Saljic has admitted that the general was admitted for treatment for a form of cancer in Belgrade in 2009.

When treating Mladic, his whereabouts, would surely have been known.
