Shovels, not spoons

THE €30m being put into “shovel ready” school projects is a derisory attempt at job creation.

Instead of focussing on shovels, why not take the €100m “silver spoon” funding away from the private schools and direct it towards the “shovels”?

This €130m injection would create roughly 13,000 construction jobs.
