We need proper parking for market shoppers

I READ the very interesting article by Eoin English about the select group of market traders undergoing media training by Bord Bia and Bord Fáilte to become “market ambassadors” anticipating interview requests by the world’s media.

One question I would like answered, as I’m sure would many disabled and older drivers using the market, is why there is no disabled parking. The last time I used the market I had to use the multi-storey car park costing me €6 — hardly an incentive to use the market when I can visit Tesco at Douglas and park for free.
