Burning bondholders, burning our masters
In that event, we will not be able to pay our president, Taoiseach, ministers (including special advisors), ministers for state, TDs, senators, Attorneys General, secretaries general, bank directors and their sisters and their cousins and their aunts (serving or retired).
How could the Germans and French display such a lack of fraternity to the nobility of this republic? It is truly an appalling vista and I for one will gladly have my modest income, and that of my family (including grandchildren), slashed to make up the deficit.
What greater love for our fellow men and women could we have than to bleed ourselves dry to sustain them in the manner to which “they” have become accustomed.
This is really what Minister Varadker meant on Newstalk when he cited the inevitable inability to pay frontline workers. Is it not?
