Living in a parallel universe?

HAVING heard Micheál Martin after he was elected leader of Fianna Fáil, telling us that he was interested in (a) reforming political life and (b) reforming the government, I wonder is the long-serving TD living in a parallel universe?

I was under the impression until very recently that he has been a government minister since 1997 and none of this reform was ever even discussed.

The next thing Martin will be telling us is that the Dáil should take shorter holidays.
