Micheál Martin has my vote of confidence
While always a committed FFer, he actually knew what he was talking about and was as articulate a communicator then as now. As a teacher then he was more a collegiate than an authority figure, which is probably why I always enjoyed his classes as they were mutually instructive. I always saw him as more chairman, and less chief executive. Finally on Jan 16 he took the less travelled road of CEO in making an individual decision for the collective aggregate.
