Ethical issue

IN his column (November 10), Steven King defended Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi by saying “over-zealous magistrates have only managed to find against him on one relatively minor perjury charge”.

Ethical issue

Given that “relatively minor perjury” is a magnificent oxymoron I am not too sure Steven King’s views on the ethics of Italian politics in general, and Berlusconi’s behaviour in particular, should be given much weight.
