Systemic corruption

NEITHER Government nor opposition has the moral authority to introduce or support the fitting of a hair shirt on ordinary citizens while they are still wearing silk shirts themselves.

Their self-approved salaries and perks are so outrageous they have lost all credibility and respect among the vast mass of people they purport to represent. Are they so blind they cannot see how corrupt they and their bureaucratic puppets in the upper echelons of the so-called public service have become?

Who will save our democracy before it is overthrown by something sinister?
