No respite

SO the Dáil last week discussed some very important legislation concerning ... dogs.

Meanwhile all over the country families who depend on respite care must try to manage as best they can thanks to the HSE’s attempt to save a few million euro at their expense.

The Government had built up some decent levels of respite care nationally and now, despite the Taoiseach’s assurances to the contrary, it seems the service is still under threat. I’m disgusted.
