Negative verdict

GERRY Ryan declined to take a pay cut like others at RTÉ at a time when most Irish people are having their wages reduced.

His radio and TV programmes were poor, as was his presentation of the 1994 Eurovision song contest. Of course nothing like this will be mentioned in the media.
