Ferns funds move like an episode of Father Ted

Ferns funds move like an episode of Father Ted

As it turns out, this is actually happening. Apparently it’s a God-given responsibility. The only thing more bizarre than Bishop Brennan’s request itself is that it appears some parishioners are prepared to do so. Are there people who would actually pay money to one of the richest organisations in the world to cover costs resulting from their cover-up of widespread sexual abuse of children in this country? Abuses that were ignored all the way to the head of the organisation in the Vatican. Surely not.
