Political hot air

GREEN TD Ciarán Cuffe was ecstatic last week about the Dáil cutting its carbon emissions by 10%, proclaiming that “other workplaces should follow suit and be more like the Dáil”.

If that was the case, the economy would crash further, deliveries would stop, people would go hungry and the streets would be deserted due to our lack of urgency to get to work.

For what they are saving the taxpayer in heating bills they are certainly making up for it in the ridiculous Dáil restaurant expenses that were published recently.
